PUT YOUR RIDE ON CRUISE CONTROL  To ensure your ride is as seamless as your pick up, enter your destination right in the app. Your driver will receive turn by turn directions, while you sit back and relax.                                           FARE ESTIMATE  Find out roughly what your trip will cost before you request. Just set your pickup location, enter a destination, and tap Fare Quote — the app will calculate an approximate amount based on the expected time and distance, so there are never any surprises on your receipt.  LEARN HOW                                 SPLIT FARES

Forget freeloaders, IOUs, and separate cash transfers. Use the app to split the cost of your trip with other Uber riders. After your ride starts, choose Split Fare from the menu and add the other passengers — they’ll each pay a small transaction fee, but otherwise all credit cards will be charged equally.                    SHARE YOUR ETA  Make that "on my way" text count. Just select "Share ETA" from the menu and we'll create a text message for you to send to friends with a link to follow your route.
